Recap of the 2022-2023 Season

Recap of the 2022-2023 Season

Almost 17 years ago, a prediction was made that Stoga Squash would eventually find itself among the top teams in the nation.

The 2022-23 season found that prediction coming true!

The team entered the Nationals ranked #9 in the country among all varsity teams, having beaten all of its MASA and non-league opponents, except for Haverford and Episcopal Academy (EA).

Battling against #8 ranked Hotchkiss School in the first round, the team fought its way to a 4-3 victory to secure a place in the Elite 8.

While this team will go down in the books as having achieved the highest ranking ever for the program, the foundation was built, piece by piece, by those who came before and left everything on the court.

Five seniors depart the roster and 12 underclassmen return next season to see if the team can continue all of its great success.
